10-21-2010 - Politics

Download (Right-click + Save Link As): 2:26:20 - 68mb

Conservatives and Liberals both agree on one thing: politics are a lot more exciting on Moon Down Radio!

Off the top of the show, we heard from mayoral candidate Charlie Taylor. He told us about how he got started in politics, his experiences on the campaign trail, and why he is the right man for the job!

Charlie also stayed on the line to play a little Question/Answer. We found out Charlie doesn't drink coffee, won't resort to mudslinging, and thinks Mike Maguire "is the only other intelligent candidate running."

Political scientist Adam Norton joined me in studio for the remainder of the night, as we discussed:
People speak out on the streets!
  • Would you smoke a joint with Stephen Harper?
  • "Obama needs to have a little Bush inside of 'em"
  • "Legalize marijuana!"
  • Stephen Harper's Biography: "Prime Minister in the 21st Century"
  • Who would win in a fight: Obama or Harper?
I also found some time to play some Messages to the Prime Minister, Phil Davison crank calls, and Peter White explained why he voted for the communist party.
