South of the equator, people are busy celebrating their Southern Hemispheric Christmas and Boxing Day, and since the show has such a strong fan base in the lower latitudes, I joined in on the festivities.

On this week's show The Dubé Brothers performed live in studio!

After a few technical glitches, the boys finally hit the FM airwaves for the first time in their young career. Fast forward to the 13th minute to hear Quinn (Age 9 - Drums), Jan (Age 11 - Bass/Vocals) and Liam (Age 13 - Lead Guitar) as they play a selection of cover tunes, as well as an original song they wrote themselves.

The Dube Brothers also talked a little bit about their fundraising efforts for Canadian Feed the Children, what it was like performing with Hollerado at Bluesfest, and meeting Arcade Fire.

As we were getting ready to launch into another set, Jan said he needed to go to the washroom, so Liam fired his way through the Thunder Round by himself. When all the brothers were back in studio, we played a little Rock & Roll Jeopardy! during which we discovered that the boys don't own a television. Drummer Quinn capped off the night with the finest burp this side of the Ottawa river.
